HubSpot UNBOUND 2026: Here's the new features

Written by Lucie Raillard | Sep 16, 2026, 2:30:00 PM

On September 16, 2026, HubSpot unveiled the next chapter of its platform at UNBOUND, where CEO Yamini Rangan, Chief Technology and Product Officer Duncan Lennox, and Chief Customer Experience Officer Jon Dick presented the latest trends in marketing, sales, and customer service, as well as new features for the platform.

In summary

  • The announcements from HubSpot’s Fall Spotlight 2026 are based on the idea of building a cohesive system rather than focusing on a single standout feature.
  • 5 key updates to note: Agent Hub, Agent Builder, HubSpot Work, Marketing Studio 2.0, as well as new nurturing and content agents.
  • Together, they transform HubSpot into what could be called an agent-driven customer platform: each AI agent now operates within the full context of your customers, your processes, and your team.

HubSpot unveiled the next chapter of its platform at UNBOUND: the shift from isolated AI features to a connected system built around customer context.

Here’s what’s changing—and what it means for your teams!

What is HubSpot’s new vision for growth?

HubSpot is now positioning its CRM as an agent-driven customer platform, where each agent understands the full context of a customer: who they are, what they’ve done, how, where, when, and why.

Your CRM acts less like a passive database and more like a colleague who already knows the entire history before even stepping in.

What is HubSpot’s Agent Hub?

Agent Hub isn’t a new product line. It’s a dedicated section within HubSpot where you can enable, configure, and manage all your AI agents in one place, organized by business objective rather than by feature.

The agents are grouped around specific outcomes, such as:

  • Generating demand (content, campaign, and nurturing agents)
  • Closing sales (lead generation, deal progression, and revenue agents)
  • Delivering customer satisfaction (customer service and knowledge base agents)
  • Growing accounts (data agents)

For example, a ready-to-use agent can automatically search for a company as soon as a new contact is created, then generate a summary for the sales representative before their first call.

Agent Hub is available to Pro and Enterprise users.

How does Agent Builder work?

Available in beta since July for Pro and Enterprise users, HubSpot’s Agent Builder lets you create agents tailored to your own processes, rather than limiting you to generic agents.

You describe the agent’s role, its objective, and the expected outcome, and HubSpot’s Breeze assistant helps you build it.

A pre-qualification agent, for example, can evaluate each new lead before it’s assigned to a representative, integrated directly into an existing workflow. The result: less time wasted on unpromising leads, more time spent on the ones that really matter.

What is HubSpot Work?

HubSpot Work is a new AI-powered workspace that lets you manage your projects directly within the platform, leveraging the context of the CRM. Instead of being confined to a separate tool, your projects are organized, assigned to the right team members, and each task can be linked to a segment, a marketing email, or a form in HubSpot.

A simple request—such as creating a product launch project that tracks and generates the associated marketing assets—is all it takes to automatically generate a table of contents, a to-do list, and next steps.

HubSpot Work is currently in private beta, but will be available starting with the Starter plan once launched, making it an attractive option even for small marketing teams!

What’s new in Marketing Studio 2.0?

HubSpot’s Marketing Studio has been completely rebuilt to bring strategy, execution, and reporting together in a single space.

The platform now continuously monitors your campaigns and alerts you to issues before you even notice them yourself—such as a broken CTA right before sending an email to thousands of contacts, a page losing visibility in AI-generated search results compared to the competition, or a high drop-off rate at a key stage in your funnel.

Rather than manually configuring a fix, you can simply ask the Breeze assistant to automate the process for you.

How do the new nurturing and content agents work?

The content agent goes beyond simple AI-generated content. Before writing anything, it researches your topic, analyzes relevant keywords, and then crafts content designed to perform well in AI-generated responses—not just in traditional search results.

HubSpot’s nurturing agent applies the same logic to communications. It analyzes actual contact data—such as their role, engagement history, and fields available in the CRM—to determine which information to use, then personalizes each email accordingly. As a result, two contacts can receive a message with the same intent, but with content that’s truly tailored to their specific circumstances.

What does this mean for your business?

For teams already using HubSpot CRM, this opens up new opportunities to automate lead qualification, content creation, and campaign tracking—without adding additional tools to your tech stack.

For those considering a migration to HubSpot, this confirms the tool’s evolution into a true agent-driven customer platform.

As with any major platform update, the real value comes from configuring these tools around your actual business processes—not just from enabling them.
