Parkour3 intern and client Patricia Poirier of Desjardins shares her story.
I 've been working atDesjardins for 2 years now, as a sales support coordinator, after completing my studies in graphic design. Why does a designer work in the financial sector? When I was studying, I wanted to understand how the hierarchical and organizational system of a large company worked.
Today, this experience allows me to satisfy my curiosity and draw inspiration from this structure to serve a large number of individuals.
My main job is to develop our digital solutions to improve their navigation. I create web interfaces, presentation templates, training layouts and motion design. My work is very creative and requires a lot of management and thought.
Desjardinshas been working with Parkour3for 6 years now on digital projects . I came into contact with them through my job.
For a long time, I was interested in visiting the agency, especially to understand how it worked, but also to discover each of the departments. I took the plunge!
There's a very high degree of expertise in this agency. It's essential to do good strategic planning, to study the customer's needs, but also to draw up recommendations based on quantified findings.
Then it's a matter of implementing the user experience to materialize the upstream strategy.
The user experience. This expertise inspires me enormously, since it encompasses the entiretrajectory taken by the consumer. What's more, it drives visual design, integration and programming.
During my one-day internship, I explored all the creative stages of a web agency, and thisconfirmed my passion for digital.
In addition to visiting every discipline of a web agency, this experience made me realize that the customer is always included and is paramount throughout the creative process.
My experience made me realize how much fun it is to work in an agency, and how close-knit a solid, diverse team can be. I discovered people who are interested in and passionate about their work. Many thanks to the Parkour3 team, who gave me an enriching and fascinating experience!
