Systemex Automation is an engineering, consulting and systems integration company specializing in industrial automation.

Since November 2022, Antoine Charbonneau has held the position of Global Sales Director within the company.

We discussed the marketing challenges faced by Systemex Automation, and the actions taken to overcome them.

What is the company's mission?

Systemex Automation specializes in the design and implementation of automation solutions for manufacturing industries. Founded over 30 years ago, the company quickly established itself as a leader in its field in North America, thanks to its technical expertise, engineering know-how and ability to constantly innovate to meet its customers' needs.

Systemex Automation's mission is to work with customers to develop efficient, cost-effective solutions to meet the most stringent requirements.

State-of-the-art automation solutions enable our customers to maximize their productivity, efficiency and profitability.

What are your responsibilities at Systemex Automation?

As Global Sales Director, I'm responsible for implementing the sales action plan, identifying market opportunities and trends, and managing customer relationships.

I supervise the sales teams and ensure that sales strategies are implemented effectively and consistently throughout the organization.

I work closely with other company departments to ensure a coherent sales strategy aligned with common company objectives.

What are your greatest challenges? What are you doing to meet these challenges?

One of our biggest challenges is reaching the widest possible base of potential customers.

We are working to identify the most appropriate channels to reach our audience. We have developed a digital marketing strategy, which includes identifying the most appropriate communication channels, deploying advertising campaigns and creating relevant content adapted to each channel.

Have you already seen results?

We're succeeding in targeting our audience and attracting their attention. In fact, our digital marketing strategy includes investment in advertising campaigns that have already generated qualified leads for our sales teams.

What is Systemex Automation's main objective for the next 5 years?

Our aim is to increase our market share by following our strategic plan for rapid growth.

This means implementing actions to attract new customers.

We launched our new website in August 2022 and continue to refine our digital marketing strategy.

Improving online presence is paramount for engineering companies and propels them to another level. By developing a digital marketing strategy - the set of marketing activities deployed online to reach prospects - engineering companies can leverage traffic and increase the web's contribution to their bottom line.
